Mayor of Waikoloa

Representing our Aloha lifestyle

2021 – 2022 Winners

Mayor Wynne

Wynne was born to serve, really! She’s an official service dog, originally from Scottsdale, AZ where she started her training as a puppy. Two years ago she met her forever human-in-need and moved to Waikoloa Village. She just loves this place!

When she’s not working her day job she’s very social and loves meeting new people. She will work hard spreading aloha throughout the Waikoloa Village community.

For fun, she loves to lay on the lanai in the warm Hawaiian sunshine and really enjoys any type of toy that squeaks, especially if it has rope that she can untie. She also likes to dance—she’s got some pretty good moves and her tail has got rhythm.

Vice Mayor Pupu

Pupu was abandoned at the Island Gourmet parking lot at the age of about 4 weeks. Luckily, she was spotted by one of the ABay Kitties volunteers and quickly whisked away to safety. She was a fighter and bounced back quickly with food, antibiotics, and tons of love. Once both of her eyes were able to fully open, she showed off her stunning heterochromatic colors! At 3 months old, she’s mastered the Roomba, learned to turn on the bathroom faucets, and defends her favorite cardboard box like a pro.

Pupu wants to make sure everyone’s voice is heard – especially the little guy’s and underdogs (undercats). She had a rough start and believes everyone should be given a chance to thrive just as she was.

Pupu enjoys napping, eating, snuggling with her dog and cat siblings, being loved by her human, playing in paper bags, playing in boxes, jumping out from behind doors to scare the dogs and human, turning the Roomba on and off while attacking it, turning on the faucets, attacking wagging dog tails, and more napping and eating.
